South Coast NLYM

The South Coast Chapter of National League of Young Men, Inc. was founded in 2015 with the goal of providing young men with the opportunity to serve their community, while gaining valuable leadership skills along with protocol knowledge and cultural experiences.  Our program is open to young men and their mothers who live in the cities of West Long Beach, Lakewood, Seal Beach, Surfside, Sunset Beach, Rossmoor, Los Alamitos, Cypress, Garden Grove or Signal Hill.  It is also open to young men and their mothers if the young man attends Los Alamitos, Cypress, Oxford Academy, Artesia, Pacifica, Jordan, Lakewood or Millikan High Schools.  Boundaries are the 710 Freeway to the West, Pacific Ocean to the South, Bolsa Street to the 22 Freeway – to Knott Avenue to the East and South Street – to the 605 Freeway to Lincoln Avenue to the North.

Some of the community organizations we have volunteered with include Good Shepherd Open Table, Los Alamitos Youth Center, Heart of the City, Together We Rise, Operation Christmas Child, Save Our Beach, LAEF Summer Enrichment Institute and many others.
